HAVE YOUR SAY
Exotic weaves and luxurious fabrics will be on display as part of World Textile day.
The exhibition is to be held on Saturday June 4 at the Kings Sutton Millennium Memorial Hall on Astrop Road and
will feature a number of stitched, embroidered and woven textiles and artefacts from around the world.
There will be a number of traders in fine textiles and the opportunity to display your own articles during the 2pm ‘show
and tell’ session. The event will commence with an 11am presentation by John Gillow of Dowry Textiles of north-west
India and Pakistan. There are also two further talks scheduled throughout the day.
Parking is free and there will be refreshments on offer. Tickets are available on the door at a cost of £2 per session.
